Nautivar Octopus Form Handcarved Solid Wood Sculpted Vessel Sink
Nautivar Octopus Form Handcarved Solid Wood Sculpted Vessel Sink
Tentacles curl around the outside of this basin, each suction cup carved in high relief. The Nautivar Octopus Form Handcarved Solid Wood Sculpted Vessel Sink is a bold, maximalist piece for a bathroom that wants to make a statement.
Carved From One Block
Hand tools shape the sink out of one dense hardwood block, so there is no veneer and nothing to assemble. Its exterior keeps the deep texture of the carving, while the inside bowl is hollowed and polished smooth for daily use and easy draining.
- Finishes: Teak, Mahogany, Natural Oak, Brown, Dark Walnut, Black
- Single-block solid hardwood construction
- High-relief octopus carving
- Smooth polished interior bowl
Calm Inside, Lively Outside
The ornate, flowing exterior contrasts with a simple, quiet interior basin. Finish is rubbed on by hand, letting the grain swirl and change as it moves over the carving.
Fitting and Options
As a freestanding vessel, it sits on a standard vanity top. Diameters run from 15 to 25 inches, with heights of 5 to 7 inches, and custom sizing is available.
Pair it with an ornate vanity or vintage-style fixtures. Expect natural variation in grain, color, and texture, since no two boards are ever quite the same. Every piece is handcrafted to order, so yours will be one of a kind.
